Though I can not comment on Brighton, I can indeed confirm that the lease for Walsall is back in the landlords hands. We are finalising the terms as we speak, but expect to take over the lease in the next few days.

Baker Tilley have been quite helpful in this regard, and have certainly made this part of the process very easy, and we would like to thank them for that. We just look forward to getting in there and getting set up.

Good question... as well as a bookshop owner, I have in the past also dabbled in graphic design, and my version of Acrobat defaults to producing print-ready PDFs including imbedded fonts and super-high-res images... but i guess for this, it's a little overkill.

I'll make sure a more bandwidth-friendly version makes it into the wild soon enough just as soon as my EPOS app finishes importing the STL stock database. (It's a 6.4mb XLS file!!!! talking about massive files. So far it has been going for an hour, and has imported only 18,000 of the 65,000 products on there!)

Hi all.

Thanks for the support. Really makes all the difference.

We're really excited about everything, if a little nervous about all the work involved.

We'll certainly keep you posted as things develop. Your prayers in this transitional period would be much appreciated. So far, we're all just working really hard to ensure the doors don't stay closed any longer than necersarry.
