Church House Publishing - Common Worship 10th Anniversary Special Offer (pdf, 303kb)
THIS YEAR marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of Common Worship, the Church of England’s prayers, services and liturgy that has effectively replaced the old 1662 Book of Common Prayer in most Anglican churches — and to mark that anniversary Church House Publishing are offering some amazing savings on selected Common Worship books.
The savings range from as much as 70% off the calfskin and bonded leather editions, reduced from £50 and £40 to only £15 per volume, to better than 57% off the standard hardbacks, down from £17.50 to only £7.50: in the words of @chbookshop, “It’s the offer of the decade!”

One of my vicars came in today with the full anniversary brochure he had been sent and in it were a lot of the resources such as the pstoral services etc reduced down to as little as £10.00 each, I’m still awaiting a response from NB&M as to whether we get these at the reduced price as well – anyone out there already have an answer for me please?

We have indeed advertised this promotion in our direct mailing to clergy, but please be assured that pastoral services is definitely NOT reduced in it.
We have reduced the price of a few slower-selling CW titles such as Saints on Earth and Collects and Post Communions. Unfortunately, it was not possible to make these offers available to the trade as a whole. However we felt that by making the main volume offer open to the trade, we were making available the best part of the anniversary promotion.
We did feel very strongly that it was important to keep the trade involved in the CW 10th anniversary promotion – hence our offer above. In addition, we very deliberately avoided discounting to the general public the most popular CW volumes such as pastoral services, times and seasons etc.

Sorry I did say pastoral services didn’t I and I meant patterns for worship – my bad.
It is a shame though that the whole offer couldn’t have been made available to the trade especially as a lot of churches topped up the CW basic book back with the £5 offer a while ago, still I really appreciate the inclusion of being allowed to share some of the offer, as it is a particularly good offer on the bonded leather editions indeed – so my thanks for this.
