Sales and Marketing Assistant – Alban Books Ltd

Alban Books Ltd is the European distributor for nine American religious publishers. This role supports the sales and marketing of its wide range of books, as well as managing specific projects.

Activities include:

• targeted telesales to customer base
• sales visiting in Scotland
• providing administrative support to the Sales Manager
• creation and distribution of sales and marketing material
• distribution of review copies
• dealing with customer queries
• managing bibliographic data
• assisting at conferences, author events and book displays
• providing support to the marketing team

The contract will initially be for a fixed term of 6 months.

You will be:

• enthusiastic, resourceful and highly organised
• positive and self-motivated

The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A natural sales ability and a genuine interest in the subject matter is required. Previous related work experience would be beneficial but not essential.
