CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Richard Greatrex and everyone else involved with Aslan Books as today saw their flagship shop at St Stephen’s in the City, Bristol, open its doors for the first time, scheduled for 10am this morning.

Richard has posted a sneak-peek — preparing to step through the wardrobe door? — on the Aslan Books facebook page, snapshot opposite.

If you like what you see, head on over there and hit that Like button; even better, if you live nearby, call in and buy something. Sales have already shown a promising start with a copy of C S Lewis’ Miracles first to leave the shelves, followed by a Bible.

Stock available includes both new and secondhand books as well as a carefully selected range of greetings cards.
