TRUST MEDIA DISTRIBUTION, the Carlisle based Christian distribution company that took on the mantle of STL Distribution after the company collapsed in 2009, has itself now entered administration. A source from within the company, who did not wish to be named, indicated last night that all staff — including the entire customer service team and most of the warehouse staff — had been made redundant with immediate effect apart from a small team retained to help with the final wind up. CLC STOCKPORT has experienced its second adjacent building disaster in only 18 months as an upper section of the building next door to their new premises collapsed into the road on Thursday 21st November 2013. CLC STOCKPORT has experienced its second adjacent building disaster in only 18 months as the top floor of the building next door to their new premises collapsed into the road on Thursday 21st November 2013. It was only in May last year that the original shop was forced to close and relocate following a fire in the premises next door. The following call for prayer was issued on Thursday via facebook:

“Please Pray – the unoccupied shop building next to ours collapsed into the road at 7pm this evening. The occupants of the flats above the shop have been evacuated as a safety precaution. One of them appears to have had his car written off – you may be able to see it under the rubble in the photo. The whole of the top floor of the building is down – apart from a very dangerous corner ‘tower’ that remains next to our building. There seems no doubt that will have to come down too before anyone is allowed into our building. Even so at first glance it does look as though our building will be ok, but obviously until that is verified by the building inspectors who are due at around 8am Friday morning we won’t know for certain…” Continue reading
