Paul Slennett writes:

SCB Services, the wholesale division of Southend Christian Bookshop Ltd., were appointed UK distributors for the Franklin Electronic Bibles in 1993. Since that time they have serviced the Christian booktrade through wholesalers, which, in order were: Bible Society, STL and Trust Media.

They are pleased to announce that they have appointed CLC Wholesale to distribute the Franklin Electronic Bibles to the trade from Monday, 12th December. An introductory offer is being made from that date until the 31st January 2012 on all the Franklin Bible range.

During that time the prices are as follows:

Sovereign World Moves Trade Distribution to CLC Wholesale
(Note Posted 08/08/2010 )

Sovereign World Press Release: Change of Distribution

In line with Sovereign World’s heart for Christian mission and service to ministry we have made the decision to move our wholesale supply of books to CLC Wholesale. Sovereign World will also continue to serve shops direct and all our titles remain available from New Wine Ministries. In the interests of our new wholesale arrangement with CLC and New Wine Ministries we have made the difficult decision to no longer supply STL, who over many years have carried our titles. We acknowledge STL’s history with our company and we are grateful for their contribution.

Paul Stanier, Managing Director of Sovereign World, Ltd says, “CLC have a strong reputation in Christian mission and their ministry outreach resonates with much that Sovereign World stands for. In developing a new level of relationship with CLC it is clear that the Lord is guiding Sovereign World not only into a business arrangement but also towards an exciting ministry partnership. Our hope is we can connect with bookshops increasingly on that level.”

Chris Magee, Head of CLC Wholesale, says: “CLC has always had since its creation in 1941, a heart for mission. Even though the trade is changing, the desire and needfor faith-affirming literature hasn’t gone away and we are very happy to be distributing Sovereign World Publications inthis new arrangement.”

The arrangement comes into full effect from 1st September 2010.

New Trade Distributor for Christian Focus
(Note Posted 30/04/2008 )

Christian Focus titles are now being distributed to the trade by Orca Book Services (all titles should still be available from STL).

New Trade Distributor for Church House Publishing
(Note Posted 24/04/2008 )

As from 1st May 2008 Church House Publishing titles will be supplied to the trade by Norwich Books and Music, the recently renamed distribution arm of SCM-Canterbury Press, instead of Marston Book Services.

SCM-Canterbury Press account holders shouldn’t experience any problems: just continue to use your existing SCM-CP account number and send your orders to Norwich instead of Marston. Otherwise, you’ll need to open an account or source your CHP books elsewhere.
